How to play Diamond Cascade

Unusual win mechanics in Diamond Cascade

Pragmatic developers have visited the theme before with Gems Bonanza, but although Diamond Cascade gives the appearance of being a Cluster Pays game, it actually uses a combination of mechanics to land wins.

• The 5 x 5 layout is crossed by 50 fixed paylines, but a spin doesn’t necessarily end on a symbol win. Any matching colored backgrounds vanish from the reels – regardless of the symbols – where they’re collected in a meter alongside the reels.
• Collect 20 colored cells to activate the multiplier, which is then applied to all subsequent wins through any Cascades that follow. When no more wins are recorded, the meter resets to 0 and the game is ready for your next Coin spin.

Land three or more diamond Scatters on the reels to trigger the free spins bonus round, which awards 15 free spins. Throughout the bonus round the Multiplier Meter doesn’t reset, allowing the global Multiplier to keep climbing – potentially leading to the coveted 8,000x max win, although as a high volatility game that’s not going to spin up too often.
