Welcoming legal sports betting in Shreveport

Most of Shreveport lies within Caddo Parish which was one of the many Louisiana parishes to accept legal sports betting. This is important as there are still a few parishes in the Pelican State where sports betting is not accepted.

Thankfully Caddo Parish fell in line when Louisiana largely voted to legalize sports betting back in November 2020. This means that anyone over the age of 21 can bet on sport in Louisiana as long as they are present within one of the parishes where sports betting is allowed. Sports betting is regulated by the Louisiana Gaming Control Board whose job it is to ensure that each sportsbook is putting on a safe and fair betting service.

Shreveport currently hosts a couple of awesome physical sportsbooks that both offer you a fun and relaxed way to put down your sports bets.
